Cancellation & Refund Policy

We want you to love your Kalaakari gift. Because almost everything we make is personalised and produced to order, please read this policy carefully before you buy.
1. Cancellations
You may cancel your order for a full refund any time before we begin production. Once we have started making your personalised item, the order cannot be cancelled, as it has been created specifically for you. To cancel, email houseofmythili@gmail.com with your order number as soon as possible.
2. Personalised items — change of mind
Personalised and made-to-order items cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind, or where the error is in the personalisation details you provided (for example, a spelling or date you submitted). Please double-check all details before confirming your order.
3. Defective, damaged or wrong items
This is separate from change of mind. If your item arrives defective, damaged in transit, incorrect, or materially different from its description, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. To claim:
- Email houseofmythili@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery;
- Include your order number and clear photos (and a short video, if relevant) showing the issue.
Once we verify the issue, we will arrange a free replacement or a full refund — your choice.
4. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method through Razorpay, normally within 7–10 business days of approval. The shipping charge is refunded as well where the fault is ours.
5. Delivery delays
If we deliver materially later than the timeframe stated in our Shipping Policy, you are entitled to cancel and receive a refund, except where the delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
